Institutional Aim

Assisting in cleaning all galley work areas up to the highest USPH Standards.

  • Cleaning all galley equipment (plates, glasses, pots…) paying attention to follow the right procedures regarding safety and sanitation.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing of working area including floors, walls, elevators and other areas as per instruction of the Kitchen Steward.
  • Operating the washing machines taking care that the right instructions are followed at all times.
  • Handling all working materials and equipment with the utmost care and keep them well cleaned.
  • Reporting all necessary repairs to superiors.
  • Storing of cleaned and sanitized utensils in designated areas.
  • Assisting in cleaning vegetables, potatoes, etc…
  • Performing all duties as per instructions from the Kitchen Steward.
  • Being aware of all fire, safety and emergency procedures.
  • Being available to work overtime if requested.

 

 
Candidate Profile  : 

 

Education

Minimum 10th/SSC pass.

Professional Experience

At least 6 months in a big Hotel or Cruise ship environment

Personal Attributes

Preferable between 18 and 30 years old. Pleasant, clean and calm appearance, willing to work attitude. Fluency in English is must.

Technical Skills

Hands on attitude.
