1. Subordinated

The job holder is subordinated to the Asst. F&B Manager

2. Aims

  • Undertake all operation in the F&B service department in the most efficient manner
  • To ensure guest satisfaction
  • Compliance with the enterprise resource planning

3. Assignments

  • realize your host function in consideration of the company's philosophy
  • close and efficient teamwork with all F&B staff in order to guarantee a smooth operation of all working procedures
  • distribute, clean and protect glassware/china and other F&B equipment in the bars, restaurants and pantries
  • ensure that the back-up-system runs smoothly in order to provide the F&B working stations with  enough ice, fruits, glassware, china and cutlery
  • adopt a cost-effective operation method (avoid breakage)
  • comply with the hygiene standards USPH and HACCP
  • work according to the instructions of your superiors and assist wherever needed
  • protect equipment and facilities of the working area
  • comply with the employment protection conditions

4. Responsibilities / Competencies

  • realisation of all guidelines within the assigned working areas
  • maintain accurate information flow to superior in case of divergence of the processes
  • implement waste management regulations for environmental protection

5. Necessary qualifications and requirements

  • Team player and friendly appearance
  • Good English language skills
  • German language skills preferable
  • Hygiene knowledge
  • Police Background Check (except for Philippine nationality)
  • Foodhandler Examination
  • Medical Fitness for Service at Sea
  • Familiarization Training for Service Personnel acc. to STCW Code
  • Crowd Management Training acc. to STCW Code
  • Seafarer’s book (except for Indian nationality)
